Friday 1/18

Today in class, we started our phone case project. We designed a cover for an iPhone and submitted it in to our teacher. I learned how to group layers, make something blend with something else, and how to make something fit onto a template.

Thursday 1/17

Today, I am going to finish my yearbook cover poster and then head on to another building and take our Senior portraits. It is very fascinating because everyone is dressed up and ready for their picture to be taken; I know I am. (:

Wednesday 1/16

On Wednesday, during my New Media class, my professor showed the whole class our final movie posters and then we started working on our yearbook covers. It is still unfinished but it is coming along great.

Tuesday 1/15

Remake
Original
On Tuesday, during my New Media class, I finished up my movie poster assignment. It was a look-alike to the movie Mean Girls. The re-make turned out great and I absolutely love it. While making this poster, I learned so many new things which will help me throughout my Photoshop years.

Monday 1/14

Today during my New Media class, We started working on our movie posters that could go into the actual yearbook for our class. We took pictures of people in our class that acted out the movie of our choice and set them up like how the original is set up. I am doing the movie Mean Girls, so hopefully it will turn out as great as the original.

Friday 1/11

Radial
Asymmetrical
Symmetrical
Today during New Media, I finished up my three projects which did not take really long and then we looked at movie posters that we could use for our high school yearbook. The theme is different movie posters that we would make for different sections of the yearbook. It sounds exciting and interesting since the posters will be made new using the students of the school acting them out.

Thursday 1/10

Today during my New Media class, we learned about symmetrical, asymmetrical, and radial pictures. We also had time to leave the class and take pictures for three projects that we would work on next. I only finished the asymmetrical one and now I am working on the symmetrical project. For these projects, we had to learn how to create a work path that we would apply words on in a specific direction that we wanted.
